Tribal Traditions is a Native American owned and operated business. We support and actively promote change towards a healthy society with emphasis on a shared economic opportunity for all. Our business offers the consumer a sense of pride and knowledge while wearing and supporting the First Peoples. Tribal Traditions offers hand painted Men's and Women's apparel, beadwork, and hand carved bone, out of respect to all our indigenous nations, through the artistic expression and visionary talent of each hand painted design. Our collection includes clothing shawls and wall hangings which are individually designed and labeled in honor of who they represent. All of our clothing pieces are one of a kind designs painted on rayon (used exclusively for its absorption ability), silk, chiffon, viole, lycra, and leather. The painting process is a time consuming one. The fabric is actually white when the design process is started. The design is penciled in and then gone over again with a thin line of hot wax. After the design is painted, the background is added. When the paint is dry, the garment is put through a chemical soak, rinsed, and dried. In the final process, it is emersed in boiling water. After the wax comes to the top, it is skimmed off, then the garment is rinsed and dried. The beautiful finished pieces are available in many different styles and colors in sizes from child to adult 5XL.

We believe in a global native concept
that allows us to experience all native art forms throughout the world
free from judgment and prejudice.
